Meet Chef, Bryant Kryck
New chef, new team, new menus | (541) 382-ROAM
Downtown Bend’s Oxford Hotel revives its newest street-level restaurant, Roam, by making dynamic changes to the menu and ambiance as well as bringing a new Executive Chef to the team. Roam now offers a menu of modern American cuisine, an array of craft cocktails featuring local spirits, and a select list of local micro beers and wine.
New to Bend, Executive Chef Bryant Kryck began his career 7 years ago after serving as a US Army Military Police Veteran and has built an extensive and impressive repertoire in culinary management since. Bryant’s culinary education at Le Cordon Bleu prepared him for the competitive real world, where he fine-tuned his skills through a vast array of experiences. Starting in his hometown of Portland, Oregon, Chef Bryant began his journey as Executive Chef at the Hi-Lo Hotel before moving on to open and re-concept hotel restaurants in Nebraska, New York, and Michigan.
After making TV appearances on the Food Network’s Chopped and Guy’s Grocery Games in 2020, Bryant Kryck joined the Roam team in Bend and brings a fresh take on modern American dining to Downtown Bend. Chef Bryant draws on his experiences in fine dining, as well as Mexican and American cuisines, all while focusing on fresh, local ingredients and the sustainable food movement that Roam was founded upon. New lunch, dinner, and happy hour offerings feature shareable plates and favorite mains, such as the Ahi Tuna Ceviche, Burrata Caprese Salad, Plancha Seared Half Chicken, or the Bone-in Ribeye.
